Report: Saudi Arabia can cut oil output without Russia

MOSCOW, Feb 21 (PRIME) -- Saudi Arabia can decide to cut oil output by up to 300,000 barrels per day together with Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates without Russia, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing sources with knowledge of the situation.

The newspaper reported that Saudi Arabia was about to break a four-year alliance with Russia due to an outbreak of coronavirus in China which hurts global oil demand.

Russia has not outlined its position on the increase of oil output production cut after a meeting of the OPEC plus nonmember agreement participants in February.
